WACIA Annual Sports Meet - on 23.02.2025

We held our annual sports meet on 23rd Feb, 2025. 246 players from 20 member companies participated in cricket, volleyball and throw ball games and made this event into a grand success! Also to note that, Women's games were held for the first time and was received extremely well by the participants.

The tournament was inaugurated by President Mr.Silvian Noronha, President- Elect Mr. Chandrasekaran, Secretary Mr. Srinivasa Raju. J, Chairman of Sports committee Mr. Rohan Naik and Manager Mr. Jayaram.

10th Members Business meet at WACIA Conference Hall on 18th December 2024. 47 members representing from Member Industries participated. The pre-meet networking session and post-meet interest group discussions added value to this event. M/s. Kingar Signs, General Industries and Safety Cop Solutions explained about their products. Mr. Ramesh M/s. Bravisa Temple Tree spoke about "Opportunity for Business Owners to Grow Their Wealth" M/s. Kotak Mahendra Bank explained about their product and many other benefits to MSME's.

President Mr. Silvian Noronha inaugurated Intralogistics & Warehousing Expo 2024 ON 19TH December 2024 at KTPO Bengaluru.

Awareness program of Labour Law at WACIA on 10.12.2024. Program Inaugurated by Our President Mr. Silvian Noronha and Labour Office Mr. Shekarappa Gaddad and other 6 Sr. Labour Inspectors were Present in the program. Mr. Shekarappa Gaddad explained about Labour Law and other details for the employees benefits. 33 employees participated.

Yoga work shop on 2nd December 2024. Dr. Yogi Devaraj Yoga Guru explained benefits doing yoga and demonstrated few yoga aasanas. 20 members participated.

Industrial Safety & Health Training Program

WACIA in association with the Department of Factories & Boilers, Industrial Safety and Health, Government of Karnataka, organized a Training program on Industrial Safety and Health on November 28, 2024 at the WACIA premises.

This Program inaugurated by Mr. Srinivas Anand Sr. Asst. Director Department of Factories & Boilers, President WACIA Mr. Silvian Noronha and Dr. Enti. Ranga Reddy Executive Committee Member/ Chairman HR-IR Training Committee were present along with Mr. Hanumantha Rao Trainer (Health Specialist).

Secretary Mr. Srinivasa Raju.J Council Member Mr. Rohan Naik distributed the training certificates to the 89 participants from 28 member industries.

9th Members Business meet at WACIA Conference Hall on 20th November 2024. 36 members representing from 34 Member Industries participated. The pre-meet networking session and post-meet interest group discussions added value to this event. M/s. SYN-ERGO MACHINES PVT LTD explained about their products.

M/s. ORB Energy Pvt Ltd explained about Roof top solar benefits and other technical details to our members.

WACIA celebrated 69th Kannada Rajyostava.

GST awareness program conducted in WACIA Conference Hall on 23.10.2024. Mr. Rangaswamy Dy. Commissioner GST and Asst. Commissioner (Retd) Mr. Prahalad Kulkarni were present.

"Nidhi Aapke Nikhat" and EPFO interactive meeting was held on 27.08.2024. Our President Mr. Silvian Noronha inaugurated the program. 23 participants took part in the meet and many PF cases were discussed and resolved.

78th Independence Day celebrated at WACIA. Our Past President Mr. Rajesh Mallya, President Mr. Silvian Noronha, Secretary Mr. Srinivasa Raju, Council Members Mr. Shivakumar , Mr. Raghu and Hemmersbach India staff also were present in this occasion.

First Aid Training

A First Aid Training was conducted in WACIA on 09-08-2024 by St. John Ambulance as organized by WACIA under the regular workshop/training for the benefit of it's member industries. 85 employees belonging to 18 various member industries have participated this enlightening training. Shri Sannamariyappa, the experienced and passionate faculty demonstrated first aid with the help of practical demo. Mr. Srinivasa Raju. J Our Hon.Secretary welcomed the participants. Our Immd. Past President Mr. Rajesh Mallya, Treasurer Mr. Raghava Poojary, Executive Committee member Mr. Rohan Naik and Mr. Shivakumar. M was present in the program. WACIA organizes the First Aid training every 3 to 4 months in association with St. John Ambulance, a Govt. of India recognized reputed service organization.

Ms. Monica Rajamane welcomed the guests and the gathering. Guest of the day Ms. Meethali Mukherjee -Founder of Hydax Ltd spoke to the August gathering regarding the role women can play even in mechanical and hydraulics areas. Guest of Honor Ms. Rama Subramanian, Member -FKCCI spoke about women's role in overall development. Chief Guest of the day Ms. Pushpalatha - Founder, Garba Gudi, Chain of IVF clinics across Bangalore spoke about the importance of the heath in long run of life. Dr. Priyameet Kaur Keer. From New Horizon College of Engineering welcomed the chief Guest by introducing her. Dr. Enti Ranga Reddy, Chairman -HR Committee, WACIA presented vote of thanks. 2nd Members Business Meet at WACIA Conference Hall On 28th February 2024. 38 members representing 34 member Organizations participated enthusiastically. M/s.Venwiz Technologies team explained about Empowering MSMEs for Digital Transformation and other benefits. M/s. State Bank of India explained about Mandatory Insurance on Gratuity Liability.

The Flag ship event of WACIA Premier League- Hemmersbach cup annual cricket tournament for 2023-24 was conducted on Sunday the 18th February 2024 at Whitefield Cricket Academy Chennasandra. 14 teams participated from member Companies. Some of the member Companies M/s. San Engineering given 2 and M/s. Hemmersbach given 3 teams. The game was conducted on knock out basis played.

M/s. Rajamane Industries Pvt Ltd was the winner and M/s. Associated Hydro Pressings Pvt Ltd was the runner up of the tournament 2023-24.
