    • BCM TRAINING 2019

      Income Tax Department held a TDS awareness training camp at WACIA. Mr. C.B Prabanna Gowda, Income Tax Officer TDS, Mr. Govardhan Income Tax Officer TDS and Mr. Raghu Tax Assistant trained the participants.

    • FIRE SAFETY PROGRAM on 12.12.2018

      Mr. Syad Khuda Bakash of M/s. Flamecease Security and Systems Pvt Ltd made a lively and interactive presentation on some of the important aspects of Fire Safety. From locating & using of fire extinguishers to other aspects of dealing with fire hazard, every aspect was covered. Participants feed back was positive and most said it was an eye-opener to the them. This training had participation of 53 people from 11 member Industries.

    • HR/IR Best Practices on 12th December 2018

      With the launch of the HR & IR Forum the first Best practice to the HR members of the different industries was presented on 12.12.2018.HR & Admin Head of VST Tillers tractors Mrs. Renuka shared the HR Practices followed in VST.Executive Committee Members, HR & IR panel Committee members of WACIA were also present for the session.

    • Members Education Initiative - Knowledge Session #3 on 28th November 2018.

      Mr.Jayram Srinivasanof Epoch Consulting,an alumnus of IIM spoke on "Virtues of open source ERP for MSMEs".
      Mr.Ameet Mattoo of Think Change Consulting with a vast knowledge in Organisational Change & Consulting spoke on "Scaling yourself to Scale your business".Both the speakers connected well with the audience.

    • A one day training on GSTon 14th November 2018

      A one day training on GST was held at WACIA on 14th November 2018. It was conducted by renowned indirect tax experts from ASA & Associates. Mr. M.R Kori, President WACIA.
      Mr. Rajesh Mallya K, Secretary WACIA thanked the distinguished speakers and the participants and their employers for sparing their valuable time for undergoing the workshop.

    • EPFO Meeton 31st October 2018on 11.09.2018

      Mr. K.S Venugopal, Enforcement Officer from EPFO, K R Puram interacted with representatives of 19 member industries and explained the procedure and importance of Aadhaar Seeding and other grievances redressed on Wednesday 31st October 2018.

    • Blood Donation camp on 18th September 2018on 11.09.2018

      A blood donation camp was held in our Association with Bhoruka Group on 18.09.2018 at WACIA premises. 86 units were collected with help of our members.Few of the major donors M/s. Saint Gobain India Ltd, Kabelschlepp India Pvt Ltd, Rajamane Industries Pvt Ltd and Bhuruka Gases Ltd.

    • Special General Body Meeting on 28th March, 2018

      A special general meeting was held to amend the bye laws of WACIA. 24 members participated and all the amendments were adopted and passed unanimously.

    • Interactive Meet with ESIC on 23rd March, 2018

      There was an active interaction between 35 representatives from member industries and the officials named above. Many doubts were cleared and new amendments were highlighted by the officials.

    • Minimum Wage and Power Tariff meet on 8th March, 2018

      Dr Gubbi Subba Rao, who handled the subject relating to the notification of the government of Karnataka on minimum wages, dwelt on various methods by which organizations could deal with the impact of the proposed hikes including legal recourses that are available.

    • Cricket Tournament on 4th February, 2018

      Annual cricket tournament was held at the picturesque Gurukul Sports Academy.

    • Budget Meet on 3rd February, 2018

      This program jointly organized with Rotary Bangalore Whitefield Central drew over 40 participants and was an unqualified success. The panelists and the moderator did an excellent job to ensure that the discussions were analytical, incisive, informative and engaging.

    • Badminton Tournament on 2nd December, 2017

      A badminton tournament, a first time event at WACIA, was arranged for employees of member industries. Participants took part enthusiastically and were appreciative of the arrangements. The winners are: Women Singles Ms. Lavanya ( Mcnally Sayaji) 1st place. Ms. Ashwini (Mcnally Sayaji) 2nd place.

    • Nidhi Aapke Nikat / PF Near U @ WACIA on 10th February, 2018

      Ms. Asha Krishna, Enforcement Officer from EPFO, K R Puram interacted with representatives of 16 member industries and explained new schemes launched as well as online updating of subscriber data.

    • Interactive Meet with BESCOM & BMRCL on 29th December, 2017

      Mr. Shantha Mallappa, Executive Engineer of BESCOM along with his colleagues Mr. Lokesh - AEE, Mr. M M Sali -AEE and Mr. Naveen Kumar - AE held a grievance redressal meet at WACIA on Friday, 29th December 2017.

    • Fire Safety Programon 17th November, 2017

      Sri. Hemanth Kumar, District Fire Officer attached to the Mahadevapura Fire Station, made a lively and interactive presentation on some of the important aspects of Fire Safety.

    • Interactive Session on EPF with EPF Authorities on 3rd November, 2017

      A Grievance Redresal Camp was held by EPFO as part of their vigilance week on 03/11/2017. Mr. Raman Danasekar, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner along with Enforcement Officers Mrs. Asha Krishna and Mr. Sampath Kumar covered all the aspects of EPF including new schemes. 38 Participants from 22 member Industries 16 participants from Non Member Industries.

    • Successful completion of Blood Donation Camp on 26th October 2017

      The program at our WACIA office in association with Rotary Bangalore Whitefield Central and TTK Blood Bank. We have been able to collect a total of 67 unit of Blood with the support of all our fellow members organizations and their contacts.

    • Interactive Meet with BBMP, BESCOM and BWSSB on 25th October 2017

      An interactive meeting was organised with BBMP, BESCOM and BWSSB officials so that members could have a direct interaction with them and get their grievances redressed.

    • Basics training program on M.S Excel on 11th October 2017

      The program on Basics of Excel attended by 20 participants from eight companies received enthusiastic and positive feedback from all the participants. Special mention was also made of the way in which the program was conducted by the trainer Ms. V. Padmini.

    • Workshop on 5- S and Kaizen on 15th September at WACIA

      WACIA conducted a program on 5S & Kaizen for the benefit of its members on 15th Sep 2017 at the WACIA conference Hall. This program was attended by 35 participants from 15 industries and educational institutions.

    • Workshop on Industrial Health and Safety on 14th September at WACIA

      A First Aid Training was conducted in WACIA on 22-8-17 at WACIA by St. John Ambulance as organised by WACIA under the regular workshop/training for the benefit of it's member industries.

    • Workshop Completed on Interactive Meet with MD of Namma Metro on 27th July 2017

      Sri. Pradeep Singh Kharola, IAS, Managing Director of BMRCL was scheduled to address the concerns of members during the construction of Phase 2 from Baiyappanahalli to Kadugodi, which unfortunately he could not attend due to pressing matters elsewhere.

      An interactive Q&A session on GST was held on 17th July 2017 with Mr. Prahlad Kulkarni (ACCT) and Mr. B. C.       44th AGM of WACIA was held on 28th June 2017 at the conference hall of the association. In a glittering ceremony Dr. C. Purnachandra Rao was elected as the new President along with a new team of office bearers.

      The participants should bring their two stamp size photos with name mentioned on the rear side. The photos of all participants from a particular company can be put in a single envelope duly mentioned the name of the company and hand it over at the registration counter.

    • Free Health Check up camp (04 April 2017)
      A free health Check Camp jointly organised by WACIA and Lions International Bangalore East in association with MVJ Hospitals at WACIA on 04.04.2017. 256 employees belonging to various member industries of WACIA availed this opportunity. Few were detected diabetes and provided medicine as a temporary relief and advised for constant monitoring of blood sugar.
